Your Outcome

Learn how to use instagram and make guitar videos to land you more gigs!

If you want to get real playing opportunities or just have a supportive online community as a musician, this workshop is for you!

We will work together to help you learn how to create an Instagram (all the way from your bio to creating guitar videos) that sets you up to get the gigs you want and meet other musicians so you can play out more!

In this course, you will find the best tips I have found as I've worked to grow my own Instagram. Keep in mind everyone is different, so please experiment and try out what works for you (and also what you enjoy posting).

No matter how many guitar Instagram accounts and guitar players there are out there, there are a lot of people who are going to relate to you and the way you do things.

I say this a lot because I have to constantly tell myself this! If I could go back in time, I would also tell myself not to freak out when things aren't growing as quickly as you think they "should."

Try to focus on the people you are connecting with, and enjoy learning and creating music to share! Hope you love this course and please reach out to me with any questions you have, or anything you would like me to add to the course!

What Students Say

Instagram can be a very intimidating platform for many different reasons. Combine that intimidation with also putting up videos of yourself playing guitar... now Instagram becomes TERRIFYING! Luckily though, there are people on Instagram like Haley.

After taking her course, “A Guitarist’s Guide to Instagram”, the platform no longer looked as big and daunting as before. The videos and lessons are great quality as she covers everything from how to grow your Instagram presence, to the more technical side where she shows you what gear she uses to make her videos.

There’s numerous times where I catch myself going back to certain parts of the course for inspiration and ideas. I can say that signing up for this course was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my guitar playing, and I urge YOU to not let this opportunity pass you by!

Haley Powers
Guitar player and blogger

My name is Haley Powers and I am a guitar player and blogger based out of Nashville, TN!

I have been playing guitar for 15+ years and quit my "real job" in 2018 to become a guitarist and content creator. A few years after college I found myself realizing that I let a lot of my fears get in the way of what I truly wanted to do. I felt like it was too late for me or I wasn’t the type of person that could start my own business or be a full-time musician. It wasn’t until I was able to truly believe in myself (I know that sounds super cheesy!) that I was able to start taking steps toward creating a lifestyle I had always wanted. The last few years have been the most exciting, terrifying, fun, and rewarding yet and I want to bring you along in this journey with me. Whatever you want to do with music, know that it is entirely possible.

There’s zero shame in growing and getting better at the guitar and it’s all about having fun, expressing emotions, and relating to other people — not about being the very best! I want us to have joy and passion in our guitar playing, and practice our hearts out because we love this. Getting better at guitar can be amazing, life-giving, frustrating, discouraging, and a way to connect!

I now play in a number of different bands and play gigs each week (both in Nashville and on short tours!), have sponsorships with Taylor Guitars, Rivolta Guitars, Eventide Audio, Ernie Ball, Orangewood, CNZ Audio, and others as well as having been invited by NAMM to do social media at their annual conferences the past few years.

I hope you love these courses and learn a lot about guitar, content creation, and yourself in the process.
