I'm the CEO of The Hustle, a daily news email with 1m+ subscribers. We also host a big, 2,000-3,000 person conference each year.
And over the years, I've convinced ~500 big name founders to speak at Hustle Con.
The founders of Casper, WeWork, OkCupid, Bonobos and many, many more.
Because of this, I'm regularly asked how I have such a large network of powerful business leaders who are willing to speak.
So, here's the answer: I don't. At least, I didn't. I got nearly every one to speak by cold emailing them.
And it wasn't like I was paying these speakers. Of those speakers, I paid for exactly 1 to come and speak.
The rest? They came for free. Why? Because my cold emails were that good.
And it's not like I knew most of these speakers beforehand. I didn't. When I started Hustle Con, I was 24-years-old, had just moved to San Francisco, and working from my kitchen.
But what I lacked in name recognition and networking I made up with two big things: copywriting and scrappiness.
I spent years studying copywriting, applying what I learned to successfully sell stuff online.
And when I needed speakers for our event, I applied my skills... and it worked!
In this lecture, I'll show you the exact cold emailing system that I've used to connect with hundreds of high profile CEO's, founders, and other busy people including investors and potential customers.
